Alcohol Abuse In The LGBT Community
As an Gay ex drunk and alcoholic, and being given 6 months to live back in 2005 .. i am setting up an local and nationwide service relating to alcohol abuse in the LGBT community ..
Alcohol almost took my life and there is many members of our community dying from this and we are looking at providing a website and helpline service nationally for our community ..
This will launch firstly, in the Blackpool area where i reside and grow from here BUT i am also looking for any comments and issues in this area of alcohol abuse and services in your area , with the aim of also doing the very 1st huge LGBT alcohol abuse and issues relating to alcohol abuse as domestic abuse etc and complete a large research program and all assistance in your areas or services very welcome.
If you are interested in assisting with this research and working together to get this largest ever research program under way by getting our questionaires filled in by members of your community or organisation , please contact me .. This is soley being run by myself and a small group of volunteers and help is needed nationally to make the LGBT community seen out there as also having issues with alcohol related issues and saving lives.
This is new and all your support welcome and also here to assist with any issues relating to alcohol issues in any area and willing to be here as a contact to find local support in confidence.
