The Rainbow Project will be running a new course and residential weekend for young gay/bisexual men.
PLEASE NOTE THE PLACES FOR THIS COURSE ARE NOW TAKEN. IF YOU WISH TO SIGN UP FOR THE NEXT COURSE, PLEASE SEND YOUR DETAILS TO THE CONTACTS LISTED AT THE BOTTOM OF THE ARTICLE. FUTURE COURSES MAY NOT INCLUDE A RESIDENTIAL WEEKEND. THANK YOU
This pilot course is available to young men aged 18-25 who identify as gay, bisexual or curious/questioning, and will be run in Derry/Londonderry (hosted in cooperation with The LADZ Project) and Belfast (hosted in cooperation with Gay & Lesbian Youth Northern Ireland).
The course will begin on August 4th and run every Monday and Thursday evening from 5 to 7pm and end with a residential from
12th –14th September (dates may vary between the two groups).
We are keen to attract people from other parts of the north west other than Derry/Londonderry and possibly could arrange transport.
The Rainbow Project's aim for this course is to tailor it to meet the needs of young gay, bi and curious/questioning men. To achieve this, both groups will be meeting up for a residential, when they will focus on issues raised during the course, as well as an evaluation of the pilot.
Places are limited, so once you have submitted an application form, you will need to meet with Rainbow staff before being offered a place. Consideration will be given to young men who have not done this type of personal development course before.
Application forms are available from sean@rainbow-project.org (Foyle Office) or liam@rainbow-project.org (Belfast Office).
We look forward to hearing from you
