Faith, Diversity and Peace

Faith, Diversity and Peace

Dear friends,

I am writing to you to invite you to (or invite you to spread the word about) a series of meetings that the Faith & Peace project of the Irish Peace Centres is organising this May.

We have been spending time examining the interplay between Human RIghts & Religious Ethics over the past year, particularly as this interplay affects Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender lives and stories.

As part of this, we have been aware that we have asked people for their stories – and we feel a responsibility in this. So, we have put together four meetings for LGBT people who are interested in discussing their relationship to gospel stories – how those gospel stories influenced and affected them – what connections they feel, and what disconnections they feel.

If you, or anybody you know, may be interested in these four meetings, please let me know. I have attached a flyer for your convenience (see below). I have not put the location on the flyer – if someone is interested, they can contact me and I will give the location.

Many thanks, and every best wish,

Pádraig.
