Disability Action and The Rainbow Project invite you to attend the launch of their joint report: ‘Multiple identity; Multiple Exclusions and Human Rights: The experiences of people with disabilities who identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender people living in Northern Ireland’
The report is a wide ranging examination of what people with disabilities who identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender experience and is challenging to all of us.
The launch will be attended by a wide range of organisations and people from the Disability and LGB&T sectors and State representatives. The event will finish with a question and answer session with representatives from Disability Action, The Rainbow Project and Barry Fitzpatrick, a Law and Policy consultant. Barry is a former Professor of Law at the University of Ulster (1995-2002) and former Head of Legal Policy and Advice at the Equality Commission (2002-2005), who has extensive knowledge on disability and sexual orientation discrimination issues.
