There are two events you can currently register for:
We require 32 Dancers to participate in this event, which will happen on April 1st 2017 in the Europa Hotel Grand Ballroom.
You pay a £20 registration fee – this holds your place! – You then commit to raising a specific amount of money which we can discuss, but will be more than likely £150 (Average from participants previously was £212 per person raised for The Rainbow Project).
You then take part in rehearsals over a 10 week period, where you will be paired up with a fellow novice dancer and learn your routine – You cannot afford to miss any rehearsals but we also recognise this is a bit of a commitment for you to make, but lets face it, we are worth it and you will be able to impress for years to come with your superior dance moves.
In March 2016, we raised just over £12,000 in this event and we are hoping that this time we can smash that target, if you want to help us please consider registering for this event.
We have all heard the term ‘do you think I came up the Lagan in a bubble? Well now you actually can. There is space for 240 people to participate, you can register on your own and be paired up with a team or you can grab three mates and register as a team. Each team is allocated to zorb and the aim of the challenge is to achieve the greatest number of rotations. Team members can operate individually or in pairs, and they battle it out against the clock. *This event requires you to be able to get into the Zorb from a small boat* Also, you may get a little wet, but you will not be entering the actual water.
We will be asking you to commit to raising £75 for this event and to pay the £20 registration fee, to hold your place. Then all you have to do is turn up on the day to take part. The date for this event has not been confirmed as yet, but we propose that it will be Saturday May 20th 2017 – to coincide with IDAHOBIT (International day against homophobia, biphobia and transphobia.)
