Belfast Pride – Transgender & Non-Binary Awareness Training

Join us for our Pride Trans & Non-Binary Awareness Training session, an interactive and participatory workshop which will help participants learn more about Trans & Non-Binary people and improve their allyship. Topics include:

• The Rainbow Project’s services for Trans & Non-Binary people
• Key language and terminology in regard to Trans & Non-Binary people
• Building understanding of gender identity, gender expression & gender non-conforming identities
• Health and wellbeing needs and experiences for Trans & Non-Binary people in Northern Ireland
• Key barriers that impact Trans & Non-Binary people
• Learning about what Trans & Non-Binary discrimination is, why it happens and its impact
• Becoming stronger allies to Trans & Non-Binary friends, family, colleagues or loved ones.
