Please read the following before purchasing your entries.


Thank you for supporting RAINBOW. These terms and conditions refer to online, in person and postal entry to our raffle.

  1. The cost of each ticket entry into the RAINBOW raffle is £1. You may purchase more than one ticket but the maximum number of tickets per person is one hundred (£100) per draw. Payment to enter the raffle must be made in advance of the draw date. Any payment received after the draw date will be treated as a donation.
  2. No tickets can be sold to, on behalf of, or for a person under the age of 18 years.
  3. If a ticket is sold unknowingly to, on behalf of, or for a person under the age of 18 they will be exempt from the raffle and will forfeit their prize and the stake will be returned.
  4. The RAINBOW Raffle is open to all UK residents over the age of 18, except employees and/or Trustees of RAINBOW.
  5. To purchase raffle tickets online entrants must be residents of UK (only) and 18 years of age or over.
  6. The Promoter will run this 1 (one) major raffle draw in 2019, alongside smaller raffles which will have different prizes.
  7. Monies raised by this raffle will support the activities of the direct services of RAINBOW, registered charity number NIC100064
  8. Participation in this raffle can be made by returning ticket stubs in the post with appropriate payment (cheque payable to RAINBOW charity or credit/debit card details) or through this website with payment by credit or debit card, where entrants will be notified by email of their ticket numbers. Some credit card providers may charge a cash advance fee for raffle ticket payments. Please check with your provider before paying for raffle tickets using this method.
  9. Raffle tickets will be entered into the draw only when the whole payment is received.
  10. The Promoter cannot accept CAF payments for raffle entries and all CAF payments will be treated as donations.
  11. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for raffle tickets which are lost, damaged, illegible or from which the prize-winner cannot be identified, or for any technical failure or event which may cause the competition to be disrupted or corrupted.
  12. Any ticket entries received after the closing date shall miss entry into the draw and therefore will be considered as a donation to RAINBOW.
  13. The closing date for entries to the raffle will be 5pm on Friday 29th November 2019.
  14. The draw will take place on Saturday 30th November 2019
  15. Raffle tickets will be drawn randomly.
  16. Prizes will be allocated in order of the tickets being drawn from the 4th Prize until the 1st Prize. Read full details of raffle prizes:
  17. Prizes are as follows:
  • First prize: NYC TRIP for 2 People or £1500 cash
  • Second prize: BERLIN TRIP for 2 People or £750 cash
  • Third prize: 50” SMART TV or £500 cash
  • Any remaining Prizes - There will be no cash alternative to any other prize except the top three.
  1. The result of the raffle draw is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
  2. Please keep the ticket or allocated number as proof of purchase.
  3. Where The Promoter is unable to contact a prize-winner so that a prize remains unclaimed for six months following The Promoter's first attempt to notify the prize-winner, The Promoter may apply the prize as it sees fit, including re-offering the prize in future raffles.
  4. All winners are required to co-operate with The Promoter’s right to publish their win as and where deemed appropriate, and to provide proof of age when requested.
  5. In the event of an error, howsoever caused, whether a printing error or otherwise and whether obvious or otherwise, which affects the competition in any way, The Promoter reserves the right to administer the raffle as though the error had not occurred. Where The Promoter deems it appropriate and/or feasible it will notify entrants of the error.
  6. Failure to comply with any of these rules may result in the disqualification of the entry. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry at their absolute discretion.
  7. Trips will take place at RAINBOW’s discretion at a date that allows the maximum allocated value to the prize.
  8. Cash alternatives will be offered as indicated above, there will be no exchanges of destination
  9. Winners may change aspects of the trip and pay additional charges themselves.  Flights will be from either Belfast or Dublin (Home Airport).
  10. The prizes incorporate flights from Home Airport to Destination Airport only and accommodation only.
  11. RAINBOW accept no responsibility or liability attaching to any of the trips.
  12. Trips will not take place on peak dates (i.e Christmas, July Fortnight, or any date that causes a surge in price.
