A Misunderstood Identity
Bisexuality is an often-misunderstood identity within the LGBTQIA+ community and often is made invisible in the wider understanding of sexuality, with many misconceptions and stigmas.
Our Bisexuality Awareness training aims to dispel this and provide an accurate and positive understanding of the often understand ‘invisible majority’ of the LGBTQIA+ community.
This course will teach:
- Awareness of Bisexuality as an identity and the associated identity labels.
- Understanding of Bisexual erasure and exclusion.
- Understanding of intersectionality within the Bisexual community.
- Understanding of Biphobia and discrimination towards Bisexual people.
- Understanding of the health & wellbeing experiences of Bisexual people.
- Understanding of being an ally towards the Bisexual community.
Our training can be delivered:
- Online via Microsoft Teams.
- In person at your venue.
- In person at our premises at our centres in Belfast or Derry/Londonderry. (Restrictions may apply)
- In person at a 3rd party venue you can access.
