Supporting LGBTQIA+ staff
This 1 hour training workshop is aimed at any workplace, community centre and/or support centre which wishes to become more aware and inclusive of the Health & Wellbeing needs for LGBTQIA+ staff, patrons or service-users.
This training aims for learners to be able to:
- Build more understanding of the mental health and wellbeing needs and experiences LGBTQIA+ people.
- Explore what barriers LGBTQIA+ people face and how to have more inclusive conversations about mental health & wellbeing.
- Discuss ways that you can ensure you’re providing both inclusive and specific mental health support at work or in your service.
Our training can be delivered:
- Online via Microsoft Teams.
- In person at your venue.
- In person at our premises at our centres in Belfast or Derry/Londonderry. (Restrictions may apply)
- In person at a 3rd party venue you can access.
It is recommended for best effectiveness this training be delivered in-person as this is delivered as a collaborative and interactive workshop, this can be delivered online however learners report greater success with in-person sessions.
We may be able to offer tailored sessions to meet any additional needs or focuses you may have however this may impact cost and length of the session.
