Diane Stewart Rea

I am the Finance and Office Manager based in the Belfast office.

My career journey has been varied, starting out in retail and hospitality before discovering a passion for administration and finance.

Over the years, I have built experience across all aspects of accounts and finance, while also running my own bookkeeping business. I joined The Rainbow Project in a temporary role to make the move from spreadsheets to an online accounting system. I quickly came to appreciate the organisation’s values and the important work it does, and I was pleased when the opportunity arose to become a permanent member of the team.

In my role, I look after the day-to-day finances of The Rainbow Project, helping to ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. I also oversee office administration and building maintenance, keeping things organised and ticking along so that our teams can focus on supporting the LGBTQIA+ community
