My aim is to offer a space where you feel understood, supported, and treated with genuine care and respect.
I am an MBACP (Accredited) counsellor with over seven years of clinical experience, and more than 20 years working in health, social care, and community support. I have worked with people from many different backgrounds, identities, and experiences. I am also a Hatha yoga teacher and long‑term Buddhist practitioner, which inform the compassionate, grounded, and reflective way I work.
My Therapeutic Approach
*Person‑Centred Therapy
Rooted in the belief that you are the expert in your own life. I offer a safe, empathic, and genuine relationship where you can explore your experiences openly.
Psychodynamic Perspectives
I may draw on early experiences and relationships to help us understand current patterns in how you relate to yourself and others.
Developmental, Attachment & Evolutionary Psychology
These perspectives help us understand survival strategies, coping patterns, and human connection.
Compassion‑Focused Therapy Principles
Compassion—towards yourself and others—can be a powerful antidote to emotional suffering, and is becoming a core part of my practice.
I enjoy being part of a dedicated team and contributing to an organisation that makes a positive difference in people’s lives every day.
