The All Ireland Institute of Hospice and Palliative Care, LGBT Ireland and the Irish Hospice Foundation have created this guide for LGBTQIA+ End of Life Care. Though created for the Republic of Ireland, much of the content is valuable and relevant to people living in NI. Read it here.

OUTpatients UK have a very useful page on Intersex people and cancer. The page includes information on screening, risk, body image and fertility. OUTpatients also provides services for LGBTQIA+ people impacted by cancer across the UK.

Macmillan Cancer Support’s resource hub for information on LGBTQIA+ cancer support. Get the tailored information you need about cancer care here. 

HPV vaccine for men

Gay and Bisexual men and other men who have sex with men, including trans men, are able to access the HPV vaccine for free at their local GUM or HIV clinic. The HPV vaccination  reduces your risk of
developing HPV-associated cancer in the future. To read more about it, see the PHA booklet.

ovarian cancer risk

Ovacome and OUTpatients have put together this information for transmasculine and non-binary people on Ovarian Cancer. Even if you have had surgery to remove your ovaries you still have a risk of Ovarian Cancer.

There is a Macmillan Information and Support Service in every Trust area, linked to your local Cancer Unit.
