Anna Morton

I joined The Rainbow Project in June 2025 as Fundraising & Partnerships Lead, following six years as a Fundraising & Communications Manager for an Animal Welfare charity.

Most of my career has been in the voluntary sector where I have worked with a broad range of charities both large and small, local, national, and international, predominantly in fundraising, supporter care, and CRM management.

My role at Rainbow is to connect and build meaningful relationships with people and organisations and inspire and encourage support for the LGBTQIA+ community as well as raise awareness of the services and support The Rainbow Project provide across Northern Ireland.

Before becoming a mum to two children and two fur-babies, I volunteered with The Samaritans, providing emotional support and a listening ear to people facing difficult times and struggling to cope, something I hope to do again when I retire!

Outside of work, I love to spend time at our caravan in beautiful Donegal, where I enjoy going for long walks, kayaking, paddleboarding, or unwinding with a good book or jigsaw.

I also love live music and theatre – there’s nothing better than seeing my favourite rock bands perform live or watching my favourite musicals come to life on stage.
