Cancer Champions Manager

My role as Cancer Champions Manager is to lead the team delivering our three-year pilot project, working with both The Rainbow Project and Macmillan Cancer Support.

The cancer champions team work as Macmillan Professionals to support LGBTQIA+ people impacted by cancer, working to reduce screening barriers, improve end-of-life care, and provide individualized support to LGBTQIA+ people impacted by cancer.

I have been a part of the LGBTQIA+ charity sector for 11 years working to reduce LGBTQIA+ health and social disparities in a variety of roles, including for Terrence Higgins Trust, Stonewall Housing, Spectra CIC and Norfolk LGBTQ+ Project. I live in Belfast with my partner, where I can most often be found doing DIY, reading or drawing, or seeing the countryside as much as I can.
