Samantha Devlin

Hi, I’m Samantha and I am one of the Cancer Champions Project officers here at The Rainbow Project.

My job is to provide support to LGBTQIA+ people who want to access cancer screening and support services, or who may need help with supporting a friend or family member with cancer.

As Cancer Champions, we support people throughout their experience with cancer, from helping people pinpoint their individual needs and concerns, to promoting equitable access to cancer services for everyone in our community.

My professional background is in cross-community youth work, engaging with service users to develop and promote inclusion, empowering people in interface communities to challenge negative stereotypes, and promoting positive working and inter-personal relationships across community divides.

In my spare time you can typically find me playing video games, watching horror movies, and listening to my playlists on repeat.
