While some of our projects receive funding, many rely entirely on public donations. It is only through the generosity of individuals and organisations that we can continue to deliver our vital services.

Ways to Support The Rainbow Project

As a charity, we depend on donations to continue our work and the vital services we provide. Every contribution helps us reach more people in need and build a society where everyone can live openly, safely, and with pride.

There are so many ways that you can get involved and help to make difference.

Fundraise: Organise a sports challenge, coffee morning workplace quiz, or even a skydive! Fundraising events directly fund our frontline services.  To create a fundraising page visit justgiving.com and select The Rainbow Project.  We can provide all the support and materials you may need!

Donate: Give monthly – a regular gift helps us plan ahead and sustain services. How your monthly gift can support:

  • £5 a month provides 10 sexual health tests
  • £10 a month provides 50 safe sex packs
  • £25 a month delivers a community workshop
  • £50 a month provides a year’s counselling for one LGBTQIA+ person

One off donations are also very welcome. By clicking here, you can select to donate whatever amount you feel comfortable giving and can select the frequency of your donation.

Payroll Giving (GAYE): Give direct from your salary before tax – simple, tax-efficient, and sometimes match-funded by your employer.

Shop: Browse LGBTQIA+ merchandise at our online shop. Popular at Pride, every purchase supports our work. Visit rainbow-project.org/shop

Become a Partner: We partner with inclusive companies who want to support the LGBTQIA+ community.  Benefits include workplace training

In Memory: Celebrate the life of a loved one by supporting The Rainbow Project in their name – whether through donations or by creating a Tribute Fund at muchloved.com

Legacy Giving: Leaving a gift in your Will ensures we can continue our work long into the future so that every LGBTQIA+ person in Northern Ireland has access to the support they need, and the freedom to live as their authentic self. If you are considering leaving a gift to The Rainbow Project in your Will, we’d love o hear from you. You can speak in confidence to Anna on 02890319030.
