The Rainbow Project are proud to announce our LGBTQIA+ Awareness Training project funded by PEACEPLUS to offer training across the Derry City & Strabane District Council area.
Whether you are LGBTQIA+ or not; whether you wish to access this personally or professionally, this project will help provide you the tools and knowledge to help create a more inclusive environment where we celebrate the diversity within the wider community.
Participants will have a choice between attending a singular awareness workshop or accessing an accredited 5 session course to help you boost your ability in supporting LGBTQIA+ people and all completely free!
This project is available to anyone living in the Derry City & Strabane District Council or surrounding regions, including cross-border.
Participants will also have the chance to attend events through the course of the project as well as connect, learn and network with other participants, organisations, charities and the local LGBTQIA+ community.
This project will include a unique and exciting community conference event in summer/autumn 2026 where all participants will be able to come together and celebrate.
This project will run over the course of 2025 – 2026.
